Ever heard of that song “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend?” My mother grew up appreciating the value of diamonds and expensive jewels; she was even in the business of dealing diamonds at one point. When I was 26 years of age, I took the Greyhound bus to NYC with over $100k worth of diamonds in my brassiere to deliver it to a client for my mother. Was I afraid and nervous at the time? Not really, because my mother was so positive and acted as if it was just a simple little errand.
