This is from a video shoot we did where model Ashanti is playing the role of Josephine Baker, American-born French dancer, singer, and actress during the 1920’s-1930’s.
Last week I shared with you a behind-the-scenes video of the 2010 DC Goodwill Fashion Show and today I am digging back even deeper in my video archive to share with you another look into what behind-the-scenes at one of my shows is like: fun, hard-working, and drama free!
It is hard to believe that this year marks six years since I styled, directed, and choreographed the 2008 Fashion of Goodwill show, which featured a Parisian theme and was held at the French Embassy in Washington, DC. And what a night it was! In the video, you can see a bit of the work that goes into a used wedding gown and what we needed to do to get it polished and ready to go on the runway so that it could be purchased afterwards in the pop-up retail shop.
Soon I will be hosting a Spring Trunk Show for Goodwill where every single piece will be hand-picked and selected by me and my team of stylists. And all items will be sold for less than $100. So save your money to shop then and help out a great mission! Will keep you posted on the date.
I also love children a lot.I could spend me whole life with them without complain but unfortunately don’t have any little cousins or nieces.I only hang out with the children from my neighborhood.Hope I could babysit or take care of children someday. And your neice is beautiful and adorable dancing.Say hi for me.Bye ♡
